Batlle forest multiannual

Range of mixtures based on tremosilla and annual legumes. These are mixtures intended to recover forest areas or soils with bushes and weeds. These mixtures increase fertility and prevent soil degradation and erosion. Permanent crop implantation is common after growing these plants.

CROP MANAGEMENT

  •  Sowing season: From September to November.
  • Fertilizer: 
    • Subsurfaces: 30 to 50 units of P2O5; 30 to 50 units of K2O.
  • Annual or biannual duration: To increase the soil’s organic matter richness. Possibility of grazing, but preferably it should be left to rest during the first spring for green manure. Some seeds produced in this period will grow back next year.

AVAILABLE FORAGE MIXTURES

  • ACID TO NEUTRAL SOILS: sowing dose of  35 to 40 kg/ha
  • SANDY SOILS:3 Years: sowing rate of 35 to 40 kg/ha
