ANNUAL BARLEY BATLLE

Range of mixtures based on forage barley, annual grasses, and legumes, with high yield and rapid establishment in the field. Has the capacity for multiple cuts and a final harvest with a higher yield.

CROP MANAGEMENT

  • Sowing season: From September to November.
  • Fertilizer: 
    • Subsurfaces: 25 to 50 units of N; 50 to 90 units of P2O5; 50 to 90 units of K2O.
    • Surfaces: 40 to 60 units. N after cutting Sand/or grazing (between November and January).
  • First grazing: only for weed control, with the ryegrass of the mixture of 8 to 10 leaves.
  • Ideal final cut: 30 to 40% of legumes are in flower

AVAILABLE FORAGE MIXTURES

  • ACID SOILS: sowing dose of 75 to 80 kg/ha
  • NEUTRAL/ALKALINE SOILS: sowing rate of 75 to 80 kg/ha

EXPECTED PRODUCTION

  • UFL: Energy content of forages, expressed in feed units for milk
