DESCRIPTION

  • Prostrate plant with very branched stems, smooth and hairless.
  • Trifoliate leaves and white to violet flowers.
  • Thousand seed weight (TSW): 0.625 g

FEATURES

  • Primarily used in cool-drying or irrigated conditions and adapted to a wide pH range and different soil textures. 
  • Good alternative to alfalfa for more acidic pH and soggy conditions.
  • High nutritional value for animal feed, tolerates grazing very well. 
  • Very resistant to harsh winters but more susceptible to heat and lack of water.

SOWING 

  • Sowing Period: 
    • Fall: September to November.
    • Spring: March to May
  • Sowing Rate:
    • Pure: 5 – 10 kg/ha.
    • Mixture: 0.5 – 8 kg/ha, depending on the species and agronomic use.
  • Compatible species: grasses and legumes multi-year and permanent crop. For multiple uses, including gardening. 
  • Inoculant: Group B
