Annual grasses are varieties of winter cereals, such as barley, oats, wheat, triticale, and rye described in the section on winter cereals, and two raygrases species, Westerwoldicum and Italian, which are grass species adapted for Mediterranean conditions. 

Annual grasses from Semillas Batlle can be used as monocultures or in mixtures with legumes for grazing and single-cut use,  supplying a significant portion of fiber and energy in the forages.
