DESCRIPTION

  • Erect plants with slender, hollow, branching stems
  • Large stem and highly digestible
  • Plant height:80-150cm
  • Flowers: pink to violet flowers, with a very characteristic odor
  • Seed Color: Depends on the variety
  • Thousand seed weight (TSW): 1.25 – 1.70 grams.

  • Species adapted to a wide range of soils, except sandy and acid ones.
  • Excellent tolerance to waterlogging
  • Tolerant to medium salinity conditions,
  • High palatability and digestibility, with high forage production

SOWING 

  • Sowing Period: September to November.
  • Sowing Rate:
    • Pure: 15 – 20 kg/ha.
    • Mixture: 2 – 8 kg/ha, depending on the species.
  • Compatible species: other legumes and annual grasses 
  • Inoculant: Group C
