The Pea

The pea is a grain leguminous protein crop whose cultivation is the most spread around Europe and in Spain. Protein crop cultivations are especially important in the European Union due to our deficit of vegetable protein, and that’s how the Common Agricultural Policy has proven it.

The improvement programs championed by Semillas Batlle, on occasions in collaboration with other organisms such as the ITACYL, allow us to offer protein crop peas that are completely adapted to the spanish cultivation conditions, be it in cycle or drought tolerance.

Cases like peas with fodder aptitudes, are leafless and allow pricked and aired plants.
