ANNUAL STRIGOSA BATLLE

Range of mixtures based on forage avena strigosa, annual grasses, and legumes, with high yield and rapid establishment in the field. Has the capacity of multiple cuts and a final harvest with a higher yield.

CROP MANAGEMENT

  • Sowing season: From September to November.
  • Fertilizer: 
    • Subsurfaces: 25 to 50 units of N; 50 to 90 units of P2O5; 50 to 90 units of K2O.
    • Surfaces: 40 to 60 units. N after cutting Sand/or grazing (between November and January).
  • First grazing: only for weed control, with the ryegrass of the mixture between 8 to 10 leaves.
  • Ideal final cut: 30 to 40% of legumes are in flower

AVAILABLE FORAGE FORMULAS

  • ACID SOILS: sowing dose of  40 to 45 kg/ha
  • NEUTRAL/ALKALINE SOILS: sowing rate of 40 to 45 kg/ha
  • SANDY SOILS: sowing rate of 40 to 45 kg/ha
  • NORTH OF THE PENINSULA:sowing rate of  40 to 45 kg/ha
